Qur'an

The Qur'an (Arabic: القرآن al-Qur'ân) or the Quran is the main book of the Islamic religion. Islam is interpreted together with the hadith in the creation of the law (sharia), and Muslims read various parts from it in their worship.

According to Muslims, the verses of the Qur'an are a holy book that is revealed by Allah to the prophet Muhammad as a revelation through the angel named Gabriel.

Muslims define the Qur'an, the Bible, the Torah, and the Psalms as sacred books sent to people by God. For this reason, it is natural that the Qur'an has some similarities in some of the other books. It is also believed that the Qur'an, the last sacred book of which the other three texts are later falsified, but which has been reduced to earth, will be preserved by God until the Day of Judgment. In Islamic belief, the Qur'an is seen as proof that Muhammad is the most important and greatest miracle and that he is a true prophet. It is also considered to be the complement of divine messages sent from Adam, believed to be the first man and the first prophet.
